Who we are

We’re Jess and Iggy.

Jess became a veterinarian because she loves animals, medicine, and solving problems. After over a decade as an emergency doctor, she’s shared countless heartbreaking moments with pet owners at all hours of the day and night. Those intimate moments helped her realize that a pet’s connections to their people are just as important as their physical health.

Iggy has been a dog lover all his life. He brings his goofy but loyal Golden Retriever energy into everything he sets his mind to. His positive outlook on life is shaped by his love of people, pets, and nature.

When we lost our best friend and soul dog, Teddy, our world was shattered, hollow, and empty. We truly learned the meaning of grief and loss.

While grieving, we turned our attention to plants and nature. Having something as simple as a houseplant to care for gave us a reason to get out of bed every day.

When we lost Teddy, we had not known that water cremation was an option. Combining our love of nature and our desire to help people through their grief, we decided to bring water cremation to Rhode Island.

We started this journey together because it felt like the right thing to do. We don’t know where this will take us, but we hope we are able to help you along the way.
